Töreboda Municipality

Töreboda is located along Göta Canal, midway between Lake Vänern and Lake Vättern, and has 9,393 inhabitants (September 30, 2007). The western main-line of Göta Canal crosses here.
We have a living environment, fine recreational facilities, near to Tiveden National Park and a very active community for all ages.

The municipality has good communications with the University, as well as Stockholm and Gothenburg. Industry is well diversified with several leading companies in their fields.

Färjan Lina (Ferry line)

Färjan Lina is a hand-drawn ferry for pedestrians and cyclists crossing the Göta Canal. Färjan Lina is Swedens smallest regular ferry. The ferry is drawn by hand shortly and takes about 20-25 seconds - you can try it yourself.
